Head of the Caucasus Muslims Office Haji Allahshukur Pashazade has sent a letter of congratulation to Archbishop of the Diocese of Baku and Azerbaijan Alexander Ishenin.
In the letter, Pashazade congratulates the archbishop and all followers of the Orthodox Church living in Azerbaijan on the occasion of the Christmas and New Year, Gun.Az reports, referring to the CMO.
"Regardless of nationality and religion, we are all slaves of the One Creator, and therefore, today we share the joy with you, with our Orthodox brothers and sisters.
May the Supreme Creator accept our efforts serving the welfare of the Azerbaijani people, protecting and continuing the deeds that unite us. Let the interreligious cooperation in Azerbaijan, which is a unique example to the world, continue and enrich further," the letter reads.
The head of the Caucasus Muslims Office wished happiness to each and every Orthodox family.
